Music is my first memory. I started playing violin when I was 7, but was also always singing for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until I was 13 that I finally gathered up some courage to take my first musical theatre audition. From my first rehearsal, I was hooked. I loved performing.
I was raised on classical music, old Hollywood musicals, and old school jazz. Specifically, my immediate passion for jazz later brought me to study at Berklee College of Music, a school that not only increased my appetite for that style, but also for many other musical styles as well. I then moved to New York City, where I studied acting at Circle in the Square Theatre School.
Since then, I have traveled the globe performing and have been blessed to collaborate with some truly inspiring people. Whether it be TV appearances, cruise ship gigs, or singing onstage at Madison Square Garden, my aim—always and forever—is to create true art.
